Tryouts began today at the Marcoux.
9-11 AM Returning varsity players, 11-12 grades
11-1 PM 10th graders
1-3 PM 9th graders
With four coaches overseeing, everyone has a lot of oversight.
Nine seniors, two juniors, and a sophomore return and Coach Scott Celli has not made a decision on initial roster size until the players have been evaluated.
Similarly, he is aware of the limitations of 'sample size' in making premature determinations.
There are competitive scrimmages next week (Tuesday and Thursday) before the Saturday Play Day. More details to follow...
