"Everybody's role is really important, and you just have to play it to the best of your ability.

If you're going to be a role player, then you have to be a star in your role."

Erik Spoelstra, Heat coach, has a saying, "there is always a pecking order." Every team has a few stars and a lot of role players.
Embrace your role, whether it's as a All-League player or someone who makes the team better with energy, enthusiasm, and grit by competing with and against the star player every day.
The team needs everyone. They need you to be the best version of yourself. When your moment comes, give it your best.
Be "all in" for the team. Teach young players. The players on the state championship team, the ten sectional title teams, the league champions all get to say, "I was part of that team."
"Greatness stays..."
