Tryouts Continue

“How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.” 

Part of MVB success has been the forward-looking approach to roster development and player development. Selecting future MVB contributors relies on finding young players to grow into roles. This isn't new as the process evolved for the past twenty-plus years. 

Twenty-two players were in attendance for the day two returning varsity and 11th-12th grade session. With twelve returning varsity players there are a lot of familiar faces. 

Coach Scott Celli remarked to players that under Middlesex League bylaws, the structure for 2024 will be varsity, JVa and JVb teams. Both freshmen and sophomores are eligible for participation on JVb.
