Selection today doesn't define roles. Earn your role every day. 

Congratulations on earning the initial roster spots for MVB 24. You have all worked hard. 

Disappointment for those not making a team is understandable. Non-selection reflects the shortage of spots and the high quality of competition. Selection is tough and coaches hate cutting players. Coaches wish they could choose everyone.

MVB Notes: Twelve players return, including nine seniors. Two new players join the club, Adele Akland and Maggie Shoemaker. Several players, as usual, continue the "Sister Act" tradition including Gigi Albuja, Anna Burns, and Maggie Shoemaker.
