Statistical leadership depends on a variety of inputs:
- Total opportunities (usage, sets played)
- Skill (more efficiency, greater totals)
- Quality of statistics
- Players in sample
What should be obvious is that dominant teams playing fewer sets have fewer sets to compile stats. That makes kills, assists, or any other stats per set more meaningful than raw numbers.
