"Fight Like a Girl"

Tryouts are about a month away. There's time. 

MVB returns an experienced team with talent all-around and few question marks. Strong competition exists at multiple positions; competition makes teams better. 

Years ago a ten year-old wearing softball gear stood in the doorway. "You're going out to play softball..." "No Daddy, I'm going out to win."

Every team on the schedule is a winnable match. That doesn't mean that you win every match. There's no low floor or unreachable ceiling.

Recognize that your ability to focus, to stay fully engaged, and play harder for longer, regardless of the opponent will define your season. It's not even always wins and losses but the capacity to 'show out'. "Fight like a girl."
