"The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior." Which is why Maya Angelou said, "When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time." 

Everyone has bad days, failure. Our performance falls on some kind of curve. Every article, sales pitch, serve receive won't be great, but we control the 'follow-on'. 

When a serve receive goes awry, make the next one better. Strive to make good passes not perfect ones. 

Attitude, choices, effort. Strive for consistency and high performance. Move the curve.
