- Aggressiveness
- Consistency
Nobody 'stops' the best players. But they have to be contained. "Hands on" via double blocks, reading the tips, and "womanning up" against the power drives.
Blocking is urgency, 'pressing' the block, and stiffening the blocks, which was much better against Burlington.
Seize the Service Advantage
Remember the four S's - seams, sidelines, short, and soft (the weakest defender). Aggressive serving can force more "out of system" play, which takes opponents out of their preferred style.
