A - anticipate (read the play)
R - react (get there)
E - execute (make the play)
Theory is about studying and practice. In "Golf Is Not a Game of Perfect," Bob Rotella says that games are not the time to be thinking about your fundamentals. Have your shot planned. Take the club out of the bag. Address the ball and take your best shot.
