Close the loop. Find ways to show that you "heard and understand." That earns trust.
Coach Mike Krzyzewski reminded players, "Next play." In the Navy, "Aye aye, Sir" means I understand and am "on it."
Every player on the roster has the capacity to impact teammates and to impact winning. Trust is the avenue that you must navigate.
