Statistics usually have context. Sometimes they speak for themselves. Normally, Melrose gets about 11-12 kills/set and has a serving percentage around 90-92%.

Yesterday, Melrose had only 28 kills (7/set) and serving percentage fell below 80 percent. 

The Belmont scorer credited the Marauders with 23 aces which could reflect dynamic serving or generous scoring with struggling Melrose serve receive.
