The Boston Globe All-Scholastics list dropped and features a few ML12 players, notably Melrose's Sadie Jaggers.
Sadie's rise earns praise on multiple levels:
1) Leadership. Great players influence teammates to impact winning. Academic excellence manifested in Junior Year Honor Society selection.
2) Character. She has demonstrated character for MVB but also for the community with service. She inhabits behaviors that enrich the community having worked with Unified Basketball and Biddy and Beau's.
3) High performance on the court. Switching positions to outside, she became a dominant outside hitter, played "All-Around" including back row defense, and was one of Melrose's best servers.
Congratulations to the MVB community, Sadie, and her family.
Setter Leah Fowke earned honorable mention.
