"Turn ordinary moments into extraordinary results." - Shane Parrish
Get the coaches' attention.
- Always be punctual.
- Review your habits. What belongs and what should go?
- Outwork everyone at practice. Compete!
- Mentor younger players. Never "bigfoot" underclassmen.
- Talk. Silent teams lose. (One player can skip this advice...)
- "Do five more." - Dan Pink ...because "Champions do extra."
- "Never cheat the drill."
- Find a mentor.
- Support your teammates while on the bench.
- Energize yourself and your teammates.
- Always be mentally in the game.
- Be a great teammate.
- Find workout partners.
- Study video. What made a player a successful hitter, blocker, server, or defender?
- Never be satisfied. Complacency isn't in a winner's vocabulary.
- Develop a portfolio of success and failure stories.
- Leave the gym in better condition than you found it.
