Her point is well taken. Nobody becomes a great writer before navigating good writing. Playing or coaching, it's a process. 

Volleyball excellence traverses the process of developing skill, experience, and becoming more athletic and mentally tougher. 

Don't become frustrated because it doesn't happen overnight.
