Players need to feel valued. Coaching is about relationships. Some players with high character and great academics weren't the top players. But they were great teammates.
We lost a tough game and Leonora apologized to the team, saying that she felt responsible.

The volleyball program always has a collaborative and welcoming culture. Nobody "bigfoots" new players, understanding they were once in that position and that everyone competes daily for their role.
"Culture eats strategy for breakfast." Teams with great culture can succeed over teams with more talent.
