In 2006, Melrose girls basketball (22-0) faced Masco (22-0) in the Sectional Finals at Tsongas Arena. Melrose prevailed, something like 68-53.

I asked a Melrose player when she knew that Melrose would win. "In the tunnel before the game. We were dancing; they were shaking."

Playing your best means being focused yet "relaxed," confident in your individual and team ability.
