Sample size matters.
Kills:
A key stat that we don't have is "Attack efficiency." Hitting performance is more complex than raw numbers of kills.
Attack efficiency = (Kills - Errors)/Attempts
Serving:
High performance will mandate a higher percentage of points/serve attempts
Digging:
Mathematically, the game is about (scoring points + opponent mistakes) - (opponent scoring + MVB mistakes).
Setting:
Assists are a function of not only sets but hitter conversion. There's low hanging fruit to boost the latter.
Receiving:
No surprises here as overall, the back row performed at an above average level under pressure.
If there were one message the game sent it was the need to score more positive points, always important against quality opponents who give away fewer points.
