Simplicity Wears Well

I've read a few Jon Gordon books:

  • "Soup"
  • "The Positive Dog"
  • "Training Camp"
  • "The Hard Hat"
  • "The Energy Bus"
  • "You Win in the Locker Room First"  
My favorite is "The Positive Dog." Naturally, it's about the power of positivity. Positivity and belief go a long way. 

What five simple things power student-athletes? 
- Take care of business at home and in school.
- Treasure and treat your body...sleep, nutrition, hydration, recovery.
- Be in great physical and mental shape. 
- Work hard. 
- Don't overcomplicate things. Simple works.
