This 'throwaway' recipe helped clean out the closet and the refrigerator:
- 1 flour tortilla
- Crushed (dregs) of Tostitos 'rounds'
- Cheese topping (sliced American or shredded Mexican)
- Salsa - about 1.5 tablespoons
This was not a "high nutritional value lunch"
--- Layer the flour tortilla with crushed chips, your available cheese, and salsa, fold and hold together with a toothpick
-- Pop in the microwave for 25-30 seconds depending on your microwave
You're done.
My college roommate, often on a diet, used to put ketchup packets on cottage cheese into the toaster oven...so this qualifies as a delicacy.
