"Culture eats strategy for breakfast."
Few cultures are 'waterproof' but excellent ones are water-resistant. Only the players and coaches understand the circumstances at practice, in the locker room, on the bus, and surrounding the team ecosystem.
Outsiders make inferences based on what we see. I see passion on the sidelines from players who aren't always in the game. That's compelling evidence of 'water-resistant' culture.
If a player is a reserve and unhappy when the team does well, that's a sign they need work on attitude.

2. Player interaction away from 🏀 (includes off season)
3. Player effort & enthusiasm at practice
4. Engagement of players on the bench during the game
