Film Is the Truth Machine: Set One

Exceptional teams learn from mistakes and from great decisions. "Film is the 'truth machine'."

Coach Sonny Lane taught us years ago about winning with fundamentals or trickery...and you can't sustain the latter.

With time, players learn more efficient attack choices. Notice at about 30:07 how a tip attack to the right (zone 4) looks wide open (easy on film, not so easy real time). Players like Sarah McGowan or Hannah Brickley were great at finding holes. 

Form begets function. Focus on Sadie Jaggers pre-positioning and three step footwork into attack. "Better form, better results."

There's a saying in basketball, "Great offense is multiple actions." It applies here, too leading to a Papatsoris kill. 

From 20-11 to 20-17 a series of defensive errors not shown bleed into the lead. Total focus, not easy on a hot day, demands stopping runs. "Stops make runs" is my basketball saying.
