No offense to Liz Torres, but I think this might be a little high for now.
Bishop Fenwick is the favorite in Division 2 North as of today, and they lost to Medfield recently. North Andover beats Andover and gets ranked ten spots lower. Why bother playing the games? As they say in investing disclosure, "past performance is no guarantee of future results."
I don't like the power ratings system used by Maxpreps.com as it punishes teams that play in weaker leagues or which have several weak teams in their leagues.
Ratings systems are fun and stimulate discussion, but there's only one poll that matters...the one at the end of the season.
