"It Takes a Lot of Extra" and the "Core Four"

  • Skill (technique)
  • Strategy (tactics, volleyball IQ)
  • Physicality (sport rewards explosiveness)
  • Psychology (resilience, mental toughness)
This gets me to today's point: 

"It takes a lot of extra, not a little." Everyone can't be "the best" at whatever, but each of us decides whether to be our best. When you work at developing the "Core Four" above, you raise your academic, athletic, and personal ceilings. 

That's the daily challenge - to become the best version of yourself.
