Don't count your minutes.

Make your minutes count.
"If you get 2 minutes, be as good as you can be in your two minutes.
Don't pout about your 2 minutes.
Show the coach in your 2 minutes you make good decisions-then you get 4-now you get 8.
You have to have the right mindset." pic.twitter.com/aE1bt6hiX5
Sport is a meritocracy. Earn playing time. Earn the coaches' trust. Make them put you on the court. How? Control what you can control - attitude, choices, effort.
1) Unseen hours. Commit to the process. "The magic is in the work." Don't put in the time. Put in the work. That means having a plan and leaving your comfort zone.
2) Compete. "Always do your best." Nobody regrets doing their best.
3) Connect. Choose to be a great teammate. The best players make the players around them better. Find teammates for joint workouts. That builds bonds and skills.
4) Create. Create opportunity for yourself by demonstrating all of the above. Outworking is the best way to be recognized.
Lagniappe. Raise core skills.
