Challenge Yourself

Coach Celli can't be the communicator on the floor. He won't be serving, setting, or attacking at the pins. And he won't be blocking, covering during attacks, or receiving serves.

You will make mistakes. Everyone does.

Your ability to refocus determines whether one mistake stays at one or whether a cut turns into a transfusion requirement.

What have you learned lately from the blog?

1) Kobe Bryant never wasted time on doubt. "Control what you can control."

2) The "perfect pass" is the enemy of the good pass. Deliver a good pass that allows the setter to define the attack.

3) Ask better questions. Be willing to get help.

Lagniappe. Years ago Melrose was playing a team in the sectionals that thrived on tips, then danced after every point. This had the tendency to upset their opponents. Melrose handled the tips, the dancing died, and another sectional pelt went on the horse.
