It's early to draw any conclusions about the balance of power, but the Liberty Division triumphed in several early matches, Winchester beating Burlington and Lexington topping Wakefield. Both Burlington and Wakefield have been among the stronger clubs in the Freedom Division.
Melrose returns to action Monday, hosting Belmont, and has a pair of home tilts next week sandwiching a trip to the Launch Pad to face the Rockets.
