Carly Pattison and Notre Dame (Hingham) have their eyes on another state final appearance after the Cougars won Div. 2 South last season. Courtney Correia will lead Greater New Bedford, which will try to break through after a loss in the South final a year ago. Rachel Melampy and Duxbury should be contenders once again.
Mary O’Brien and Jennie Meagher lead defending Div. 2 North champs Bishop Fenwick in the Crusaders’ quest to get back in the championship hunt. Burlington looks to build on a 2016 season that saw the Red Devils reach their first North sectional final."
