Top Ten for Now

The Maxpreps.com rankings came out this week, and the biggest beneficiary of Central's win over Andover was Melrose. Not that we understand the complex ranking system, but Melrose's quality win over Central got accelated by Central's victory over the Golden Warriors.

Melrose will have trouble moving up without help because that's the limitation of the league schedule. Reading dropped eight places without losing.

For individual statistics, Brooke Bell is 7th in total assists and Sarah McGowan in total kills.

Melrose travels to number 96 Burlington tomorrow with tipoff at 4 P.M.
