I have heard a similar story about a former President who visited Johnson Space Center in Houston. The President asked a custodian about his job. He answered, "I helped send a man to the moon."
Motivational speaker and author says it another way, "What's your why?"
As a coach, I didn't preach playing for Melrose, the high school, or for me. Play for the girls next to you. Give your best to help them be their best.
