Here are some updated Massachusetts statistical rankings from Maxpreps.com. At the end of the day, there's only one stat that matters, winning. But when players and coaches do something great, recognition is deserved.

There's an old story, however, about a player who was a poor teammate, who didn't pass or give credit to his teammates. The coach handed him a ball on the basketball court, without teammates, out of bounds. He simply said, "play". The obvious message was that you cannot even inbound the ball without teammates.
Melrose hosts Watertown today. This is likely to provide a good opportunity for reserve players to show their progress and for players with injuries to have additional recovery time.
