The MIAA has posted the draw for the Division II North Volleyball Tournament. Last season, Melrose got the toughest possible draw, with Central Catholic in the quarterfinals, Arlington Catholic in the semis, and North Andover in the finals. This season, Melrose gets the four seed, with a bye in Round 1. They then face Greater Lowell in the quarterfinals, and if they advance, the winner of Central Catholic (8) and Greater Lawrence (1). Central Catholic plays in the tough Merrimac Valley League, with some powerhouses like Andover, Billerica, and Chelmsford.
Melrose's initial game against Greater Lowell is scheduled for 7 P.M. at the Stoneham High School.
