Maxpreps Power Rankings

Opinion polls mean little. Rankings based on 'something' beyond opinion, the Maxpreps.com system of wins and strength of schedule, adds nuance. 

If one reviewed the Melrose strength of schedule historically...we'd see trends. 

1) Maxpreps.com changed its strength of schedule (SOS) calculation in 2013

2) The Melrose SOS probably reflects better quality play in the Middlesex League in recent years.
