Bracketology

"It's the best time of the year." - Paula Sen

Playoff time. Bigger stage, bigger stakes, bigger crowds. It's fun.

As of today (not counting the Sullivan Rule), it appears that there are sixteen likely postseason D2N qualifiers. Melrose is likely to get a four or five seed and some coin flips are in the works (Danvers-Lynnfield and Lynn Classical-Melrose). We "celebrate" the twenty year anniversary of the Melrose-Wakefield football coin flip.

Dark horses in the bracket include Tewksbury and Bedford whose losses include Lincoln-Sudbury, Concord-Carlisle, Acton-Boxboro, and Tewksbury.

Legendary basketball coach Don Meyer reminded his teams, "It's how you play, not whom you play."
