More Players...Continued

As additional photographs are available from Don Norris, enjoy.  There may be times when a plethora of images of your favorites are available. This recalls the proverbial answers to prayer: "yes, no, and wait."

Experience makes a profound difference in team success. Some refer to the Lady Raiders as a "legacy program", which has become self-sustaining through player and family commitment to year-round volleyball.

Sometimes, you must click the photos to see the full image.
Amanda Commito is a stalwart back row player who has a chance to be an elite defender this season.

Coach Scott Celli has one of his most experienced teams with a deep and talented roster from which to select a lineup.

If there's a Wikipedia definition for underrated, then you might find Jen Cain's picture there. She's got major experience from the Bay State games and she's got ups.

The coaching staff identified Rachel Johnson as a 'natural blocker' early in her development. Although not the tallest middle, she ranks among the top middle blockers in Melrose volleyball history. She has worked hard to improve her hitting as well.

Brooke Bell was eyed as a setter from elementary school, as a combination of mobility, hand-eye coordination, and solid decision-making led her to All-Scholastic and All-State selection last season. She will likely own all the Melrose setting records by the end of her career.

Sydney Doherty battles for an outside hitter position in 2012. Sydney came in as a reserve with critical contributions that help push Melrose over the top to defeat Longmeadow in the state semifinals last season.
