Commitment

Control what you can control.  We all make decisions concerning time management and make choices.

Coaches can control practice schedules, lineups, and style of play but that can't control players' decisions.

This week in Reading, an alcohol incident headlined poor choices. 38 students were at a party with alcohol. How this affects Reading athletics we can't know and Melrose athletes have been involved in similar incidents in the past.

Not only is alcohol illegal for underage drinkers and against school policy, it has physical and cognitive (mental) effects including impaired memory that can last for days after use (reference from livestrong.com).

Players and teams that are committed to success, sharing the satisfaction of knowing that they did all they could to perform their best, make mature, responsible choices. Dream big. Control what you can control.
