Only One Poll Matters

The only poll that ultimately matters happens after the State Tournament. We know currently where the latest MIAA Power Rankings standing. 

The current MIAA D2 rankings do not include Melrose's points gained by upsetting D1 top ten opponent Winchester. 

Maxpreps.com D2 ratings, somewhat "black box." Note that in the MIAA ratings, Melrose is in the top 4 of opponent ratings (that doesn't include the Winchester game). In the Maxpreps.com ratings, Melrose has the second highest (after Westborough) opponent rating among top ten teams. 

Melrose has an opportunity to consolidate its MIAA rankings if they deliver a decisive victory at Lexington today.
