Playoff Picture Beginning to Shape Up

The Division 2 North playoff picture has begun to come into focus, at least a bit.

Within the north, Melrose continues undefeated with two tough matches left on the schedule, Westborough next week (defeated Central Catholic 3-2 yesterday) and Newton North on Senior Night.

Meanwhile, Bishop Fenwick avenged its earlier defeat to Arlington Catholic yesterday, 3-1. That leaves Fenwick with three losses and AC a pair. If the Maxpreps.com schedule is correct, then AC can max out at 16-2 (.889) leaving Melrose a likely one seed entering the post-season.

But Melrose's job is to peak headed into the tournament, and today the Lady Raiders host Arlington.
