Thanks to MHS-TV Sports for their high quality livestream last evening of the Melrose-Lynn Classical game.
The High-Def (1280) broadcast captures a wide-angle "All-12" view and end zone cameras detail the servers and images of both benches.
The sound quality captured the "playoff atmosphere" as although Classical didn't have a high number of supporters, they brought high volume.
Sophisticated coaches monitor bench engagement which has never been an issue for MVB.
The regular "instant replay" added high value to the broadcast. Kudos to the camera operators, production, and faculty supervision.
Pros and cons exist for student announcers. While Don Orsillo and Jerry Remy shared INANE BANTER (literally with Supers - superimposed graphics), that's a big ask for students discussing an upcoming chem test. Most students don't have an in-depth understanding of volleyball fundamentals, terms, and rules.
The broadcast - camerawork, replays, and sound - showed high quality and look forward to more in the future.
