Sarah McGowan got her 'second chance' at the Melrose Athletic Hall of Fame induction as she was unable to attend the last ceremony.
A consensus member of the MVB Mount Rushmore elite, she starred on the 2012 State Title team, displaying exceptional individual ability.
Her acceptance speech emphasized the experience and thanks to people who made a difference - Coach Scott Celli, teammates, and exceptional storytelling in the program. And she thanked her husband for allowing to relive her volleyball career far too often.
