"The Blog Is Noise"

The blog is often noise. How you live at home, in school, on the court is signal. Find signal and ignore the noise. Be open to discovery - ways to grow performance in all areas - home, school, sports.

If you can jump rope for five minutes and you couldn't a month ago, maybe the blog helped you start. If you've worked on your 'runway' approach, your arm swing or platform and they're better, maybe you found signal.

If you need more athleticism to reach your individual and team goals, start today.

If you write with stronger verbs, fewer adverbs, don't split infinitives, and use the subjunctive, maybe reading helped. At least if you listened to Steven King's advice. If you read the power of Hemingway and the "Macaroni Pie" of Hemmings, you found truth. Your volleyball won't be different and maybe your life enriched a tiny bit.

Tell your story. You're inside; advance the story with your performance.

Seek truths. Limit hyperbole. Don't poke the bear (don't inflame opponents on social media).

Control what you can control. Don't cheat the drill. Bring your best self to every 'arena' every day.

The blog is noise. You are signal.

Lagniappe. "What is useful in this?"

Train yourself to find the signal.

Lagniappe 2. Repost. Blocking is vital, do it better.
