Be Coachable

Coach Scott Celli said about a player, "She wants to learn. She wants to improve. She wants to play."

Being coachable, listening and working to translate coaching into high performance, gives players a chance to excel. Coaching may not raise your floor or your ceiling based on size, athleticism, and skill potential. But it elevates your performance, your reality.

The "diamond in the rough" is that player who 'comes out of nowhere' to become a contributor or perhaps an exceptional player. Those players share common elements - commitment, determination, work ethic, and coachability.

Being coachable, being teachable is a choice.
