What are challenge coins? Challenge coins are symbols that can represent service, membership, distinction, or appreciation. They are shared especially in the military. Flag officers (admirals, generals) often have their own coin, such as the one above from ADM Claypool.
Supposedly, a challenge coin can usually be traded for your favorite beverage in military watering holes.
Some coins represent missions whose purpose and location cannot be revealed.
Perform service. You don't need a coin to reflect your effort. A 'metaphorical' coin is enough.
