Attitude

"Control what you can control" - attitude, choices, effort. Everything begins with attitude. Players have different level of skill and will. Become a high skill, high motor player. 

Adopt an aggressive approach. Practice and play with force. Toughness is a skill. Remind yourself, "how you do anything is how you do everything."

"Crossing the red line." Ohio State coach Urban Meyer talked about crossing the red line onto the field. Make the statement about having complete preparation and full engagement once you cross the red line onto the court. 

"Get to," don't "have to." Get to do the hard work of strength and conditioning. Get to achieve in the classroom, earning a broader range of possible futures at work or higher education.
