Melrose sailed through a Middlesex League week with yesterday's three set win. For whatever reason, some matches lack as much energy or intensity, and credit to Coach Celli for energizing and engaging the players throughout the match. Yesterday's action was sloppy and without flow for much of the contest. The 3-0 win over Stoneham doesn't merit a punch-by-punch recap.
The win brings Melrose to 7-0 on the season.
