There are a lot of familiar faces returning and three freshmen join the team. Coach Celli always has younger players joining the experienced roster, led by Captains Victoria Crovo Kaitlyn MacInnes, and Cat Torpey. Torpey is joined on the team by her younger sister, Erin.
The squad has plenty of experience with six seniors and five juniors and an abundance of talented multi-sport athletes.
The 2016 team faces its toughest schedule ever and begins with scrimmages on Thursday at Lynnfield and next Saturday at the Medway Play Date.
The non-league schedule is loaded with teams in the top fifteen in the state including Arlington Catholic, Central Catholic, Frontier, Newton North, Notre Dame Academy, and Westborough. All these teams are a virtual lock to go deep in the post-season.
